Art Space 24 and ‘The other Arcadia’ present the group exhibition ‘Kterismata’ (offerings). Kalliope Assargiotaki and Tassos Mantzavinos present paintings and drawings inspired by Michel Fais’ latest novel ‘Kterismata’ (Patakis Publications). The writer Michel Fais participates with twelve black and white photographic diptychs.

The exhibition catalogue includes essays by art historian Elisabeth Plessa and literary critic Vangelis Chatzivassiliou.

During the exhibition three parallel events will take place:

On May 29th at 8.30 p.m., art historian Elisabeth Plessa and literary critic Vangelis Chatzivassiliou will discuss about  ‘The erotic thanatografia in art and literature’, on the occasion of Michel Fais’ novel ‘Kterismata’.

On June 6th at 8.30 p.m., actresses Olia Lazaridou and Alexia Kaltsiki will read excerpts of the novel ‘Kterismata’.

On June 13th at 8.30 p.m., director and singer Martha Fritzila will perform and direct songs which occur from the texts and the images of this encounter.

Art Space 24 brings art lovers and book lovers together (now theatre lovers and music lovers as well) through its exhibitions and events creating an interactive framework among the audience and the artists.
