I was born with art as a part of me… If I didn’t paint, nothing would change about me.
I enjoy travelling and living at different locations around the world, so as to get to know the people and be inspired by their art, traditions, and history. However, my travels have showed me that the scenery of Greece and my origins are those that inspire me the most.
I try to give life to my paintings, to make them be windows to the world. I try in my images to make leaves rustle, flowers smell and people talk. I love whatever moves; the sea, the birds, the wind through a laurel tree, the ephemeral character of a whisper or a glance…
I am only after the idea, not the form.
