Alecos Fassianos was born in Athens in 1935. He studied painting under Yannis Moralis at the Athens School of Fine Arts (1956-1960). He continued his studies in lithography (1960-1963) in Paris on a french state scholarship under Eugène Clairin and Georges Dayez. His work has been shown in a number of solo exhibitions in Greece and abroad. Alecos Fassianos also designs stage sets for the theatre and illustrates art publications. He lives and works in Athens and Paris.
